POET-IFY  is growing! When we started this venue in December 2005 about 25 people came to our CD release party held at LaRose Catering & Banquet Facility. Then we announced that we would be holding the venue the last Sunday of every month and the number varied from 20 to 35 in attendance.
In August 2008, POET-IFY was moved to it's new and current location, the Germantown Church of The Brethren Fellowship Hall and God began to bless in wonderous ways! Even though POET-IFY changed to a bi-monthly schedule attendance has been steady and faithful.
In 2010, we experienced even more blessings being able to sponsor the newly opened Black Writer's Museum and provide prizes and special give-aways.
In 2012, we decided to sponsor and promote the Fresh Visions Youth Theatre www.fvyt.com. The youth of this venue have become a great part of our venue. We welcome the children, their parents and all connected to this wonderful theater. God has been kind and through His people, the word is spreading about this venue of positive entertainment where God-gifted people share a variety of talents, not just poetry. We thank all for their out-pouring of support.

To some VSP's --Very Special People,
To all of the poets, singers and other artists who agreed to be featured guests from 2005 to 2007 and after we re-located in 2008; God bless you, my friends. I especially want to thank the ones who came "out of retirement" to be featured guests. To the others I asked; even if I didn't know you well when I featured you at LaRose- Poet-ify's first location,  I know you now. You have my thanks and gratitude.
Poet Ebo

When you look in the mirror, say hello to the person you see. Besides God, this is the one who has helped you get this far. Thank God and hug this friend.
